The club began in 1991, flying from a parking lot and using a rarely travelled street as a runway. 

The Newport News Park Radio Control Club (NNPRCC) was founded on January 3, 1994 and currently has 100+ active members that love building, flying and talking about radio-controlled aircraft.  The NNPRCC flying field is open to members from sunrise to sunset year-round.

HRRC Club: We are the Hampton Roads Radio Control, Inc., a non-stock, non-profit corporation dedicated to the pleasures and challenges of building and flying radio control model aircraft through mutually supportive and organized programs.

Tidewater Model Soaring Society was founded in 1970 to promote Remote Control Model Soaring.  We are comprised of all experience and skill levels from world class competitors to folks just getting started with low cost models.
